As a modest operation, we have to make some tradeoffs. We're focused on ensuring that we can provide the maximum amount of value for you. However, it also means that we want to spend ample time understanding your needs and expectations. One of the biggest benefits of working with an agency like ours is the level of attention and personalization you'll receive.
During our first few conversations we'll want to understand your business, your team, and what challenges you're looking for assistance with. We view this as much of an interview for you as it is for us. If we don't think we're positioned to execute to the level you expect, we'll tell you.
During the discovery process we'll seek to understand your budgetary requirements. Pricing can vary widely based on a number of factors such as project complexity, length etc... We can offer pricing based on time and materials, fixed fee (based on project milestones), or retainer-based structures. Regardless of the pricing structure you can expect clear expectations about what we'll deliver and when.
Our growth philosophy is centered around providing an exceptional experience for our customers. It's our belief that consistently doing great work will lead to future engagements and referrals. You can expect a value-oriented approach to our pricing.
Every engagement begins with one of our Co-Founders. Ben or Brittany will be involved in the discovery process, and remains as your primary point of contact throughout your engagement. They're also responsible for setting the overall strategy and approach for each engagement.
There are times when an engagement may require more nuanced expertise, and in those cases we'll leverage resources within our network across a broad range of skill-sets. Many other agencies rely on outsourcing work to third parties they have no context or experience with. Our approach is to only utilize people we have direct working relationships with, and can ensure have a level of knowledge and service that aligns with our own.
For large technical implementations, we may recommend partnering with more specialized agencies. This is something we'll discuss together, and is generally only the case if a portion of the engagement involves a tool or system we don't have expertise with.
Our approach is to align our communication to where you're most comfortable. For many customers that means email and video conferencing. Regardless of venue, you can expect a weekly project update which will include an update on all key deliverables, action items, next steps and any project risks.
Being a smaller agency, we may have less flexibility for increasing project scope after engagements have begun. Of course we will always do our best to accommodate your needs, but we typically structure our time in a way to ensure we can provide adequate focus for all of our customers at any given time.
For engagements that involve reviewing, sourcing, or providing strategic guidance that could lead to purchasing of a 3rd party tool or service: We always take an agnostic approach to our recommendations. We do have some vendors with which we receive compensation for referred new business. If your engagement involves any vendor in which that is the case, we will make that clear up front. This is not a meaningful portion of our revenue, we are not resellers our top priority will always be finding the best fit for you.
